On May 9, 2024, representatives of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the celebration of Victory Day and laying flowers at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square

On May 9, 2024, the Deputy Director and staff of the Institute of Economics NAS of Belarus took part in the ceremonial events on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

It is a great honor to congratulate veterans of the Great Patriotic War, as well as children of war ‑ prisoners of concentration camps and blockade survivors, on Great Victory Day.

It was a great joy to meet Nadezhda LOS - a prisoner of the Ozarichi concentration camp, honored teacher of the BSSR, laureate of the republican competition “Woman of the Year 2014”, chairman of the Elders’ Club of the Minsk city organization “Belarusian Women’s Union”. Nadezhda LOS was honored at the Institute of Economics on July 4, 2023.

Among the honorary participants of the event was Natalya MEDVEDEVA, the Head of the public organization “Residents and Defenders of Siege Leningrad, Frunzensky District”, a former employee of the Scientific and Practical Center of NAS of Belarus for food.

Representatives of the Institute of Economics honored the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame at the Victory Monument.
