On May 23, 2024, scientists from the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the XIX International Research-to-Practice Conference “Economics and Management: Theory, Methodology, Practice”, organized by the Ufa University of Science and Technology (Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russia) and Liaoning University (Shenyang, China).

The conference moderator was Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Innovative Economics at the Institute of Economics, Management and Business of the Ufa University of Science and Technology Liliya VALINUROVA. A welcoming speech to the conference participants: from the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Candidate of Economic Sciences, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat FAZRAKHMANOV; from the Chinese and Russian organizers of the conference - Doctor of Sciences in Management, Professor, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Liaoning University Huo CHUNHUI; Candidate of Technical Sciences, Vice-Rector for Innovation at the Ufa University of Science and Technology Georgy AGEEV.

At the plenary session, the conference participants heard a report by Elena PRESNYAKOVA, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Center of Innovation and Investment Policy of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus” on the topic: “Key aspects of the formation and implementation of a common industrial policy of Belarus and Russia”.

During the report, the main directions of the common industrial policy of Belarus and Russia were revealed, including the implementation of investment import-substituting and cooperation projects, the implementation of road maps in the field of microelectronics and machine tool building, and joint work on the development of mechanical engineering. The results of the X Anniversary Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, held in 2023 in Ufa, Bashkortostan, have been summed up.
