The representatives of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus

On October 2, 2024, within the framework of the “Roadmap of Scientific and Technical Cooperation of NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023-2024 in promising areas”, the representatives of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus. The delegation consisted of:

Vadim KHOMENKO, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Director of the Institute of Regional Socio-Economic and Legal Studies of the Tatar State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University;

Rosa SALIEVA, Doctor of Law Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Legal Problems of Subsoil Use, Ecology and Fuel and Energy Complex of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan;

Vladimir KHOLODNOV, Candidate of Law Sciences, Head of the Department of State and Legal Disciplines of the Academy of Social Education (Kazan).

Welcoming speeches were made by Alexander GOTOVSKY, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Vitaly PILUI, Deputy Director for Science and Innovation of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Tatyana VERTINSKAYA, Head of the Centre of World Economy of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, spoke about possible directions of scientific cooperation in the joint study of the organic and halal products’ market. Ekaterina GLADKAYA, Head of the Centre of State Building and Law of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Law Sciences, Associate Professor, spoke about the elaboration of possible promising directions of scientific cooperation in the legal sphere in the conditions of digitalisation of the economy.

The guests got acquainted with the latest developments of the scientists of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, which are presented at the permanent exhibition.

Following the talks, the parties identified promising areas of co-operation.
