Young scientists of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the republican forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Presidency of the Institute of Presidency of the Republic of Belarus
On October 27-29, 2024, at the National Children’s Technopark in Minsk, the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers held a republican forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Presidency of the Institute of Presidency of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the Forum). The event brought together more than 140 activists of the trade union of education and science. From NAS of Belarus, the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Department of Humanities and Arts of NAS of Belarus, the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Researcher of the Center of Human Development and Demography Marina LEBEDEVICH took part.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education Andrei IVANETS, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Alexander SHCHEKOVICH and the chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers Tatyana YAKUBOVICH.
In their speeches, experts discussed issues of social policy, quality of education, and professional self-realization. It was also noted that it is important to maintain an active civic position and be a patriot of your homeland.
The forum included discussions on 4 educational blocks: information security, criminal and administrative liability, psychological aspects of work, and the 2025 election campaign. The training program included various formats: lectures, workshops, dialogue platforms, and interactive games. Representatives of the education sector, the Central Electoral Committee of the Republic of Belarus, journalists, law enforcement officers, and scientists acted as experts at the Forum.
The knowledge and skills acquired at the Forum allowed them to more thoroughly understand the socio-political life of the country and realize the importance of their role in it.
