On December 14, 2024, Natalia MOROZOVA, Head of the Department of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, and Antonina TRIPUZOVA, Head of the Sector, visited the Christmas Charity Fair, which was attended by 18 countries - Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, UAE, Iran, Palestine, Moldova, Vietnam, Venezuela and others.

Dialogue of cultures, charity and mercy - the fairground became a perfect demonstration of peaceful and kind aspirations.

The event was organised by the Minsk International Women’s Club of wives of ambassadors, diplomats and foreign representatives, which has been holding such fairs for many years, raising funds for charitable purposes.

At the fair, diplomats from different countries presented unique souvenirs, traditional dishes of national cuisine, handicrafts and works of art, including author’s works.

All the funds raised by the charity fair will be used to help the citizens of the Republic of Belarus with severe needs, especially orphans and disabled children.

Natalia MOROZOVA and Antonina TRIPUZOVA did not miss the chance to be part of this wonderful event to support charity by purchasing souvenirs and immerse themselves in the unique national culture of different countries.

In addition, everyone could take part in the marathon of good deeds and fulfil a child’s dream by taking down any letter written to Father Frost by children with special needs from the “Christmas Tree of Kindness”.

In particular, Antonina TRIPUZOVA bought souvenirs made by Russian children and fulfilled the New Year wishes of two Belarusian children with special needs: Polina - 7 years old and Igor - 15 years old, which they wrote to Father Frost.

This fair symbolises mercy, kindness, mutual support and the triumph of spirituality, which unite different cultures and nationalities in a common desire to do charity, emphasising the importance of unity and helping those in need.

It is symbolic that the fair was held on the eve of the start of the republican charity campaign “OUR CHILDREN”.

Such events remind us how important it is to lend a helping hand to others, especially to children at the most magical time of the year.
