On January 27 - 29, 2025 Deputy Director for Science A.V. Gotovsky took part in the LXVIII session of the Russian-French seminar on macrofinancial issues

On January 27-29, 2025 on the basis of the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, and with the participation of the Center for Industrialization Models Studies (CEMI), Paris, the 68th session of the Russian-French seminar on macrofinancial issues was held.

This platform has become a landmark place for regular exchange of opinions of economists from the EAEU and EU countries and has turned into a large-scale international conference.

The LXVIII session was no exception. It brought together as speakers two academicians, a corresponding member, 11 doctors of sciences, 16 candidates of sciences, etc. from Russia, France, Belarus, Armenia, Donetsk People’s Republic.

Abel AGANBEHYAN - Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the British Academy, Honorary Member of NAS of RA - was the guest of honor and active participant of the discussions.

Alexander GOTOVSKY, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, presented at the conference a report with theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of economic growth, developed and applied by the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus in conducting fundamental research and preparing analytical reports for public administration.

The framework of the conference with 45 minutes for each speaker to present and discuss his report allowed to present ideas and approaches in detail, clarify questions, find like-minded people and start a discussion on the most topical issues for further scientific cooperation.
