On February 13, 2025 employees of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus visited the EI RIVE “College of Modern Technologies in Mechanical Engineering and Car Service”

On February 13, 2025 employees of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus visited the EI RIVE “College of Modern Technologies in Mechanical Engineering and Car Service” to get acquainted with modern forms of education, the use of digital technologies in the provision of educational services.

Familiarization with the facilities, resources and training process was conducted by the College Director Artem RYBAK, Deputy Directors: on educational and methodical work Maria BONDAREVA, on industrial training Valery OKUNEV and on educational work Tatiana PERSKAYA.

During the tour the employees of the Institute visited the laboratories of “Programming and adjustment of automated equipment”, “Electrical engineering, electric drive and electrics”, “Process equipment drives, hydropneumatic control systems, programmable logic controllers”, “Industry 4.0”, “Accuracy and technical standards and technical measurements”; workshops of machine tools with program control: “DMG MORI”, “HAAS”, “FANUC”, “SIEMENS”, “JSK”.

College graduates gain skills and knowledge in:

adjustment of mechanical and electrical devices of machine tools with program control (PC), robotic technological complexes and flexible manufacturing systems;

assembly, commissioning, testing, adjustment, maintenance and repair of technological equipment, mechatronic modules and mechatronic systems;

programming mechatronic system elements for efficient operation of various production processes;

development of technological processes for production of various types of products;

development of control programs for processing parts for program-controlled machine tools and manipulators, which allows optimizing production processes;

troubleshooting in the operation of technological equipment.

The employees of the Institute noted the wide introduction of high professional standards, multimedia complexes in education, expansion of the list of educational programs. The work carried out contributes to the formation of a creative personality of a competitive worker and specialist, which is especially important in modern economic conditions.

The College fruitfully cooperates with industrial enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, and the graduates have extensive knowledge and skills necessary for successful work in various industries.

During the tour the detailed information about modern educational methods used in RIVE, as well as about the advanced technologies introduced in the educational process was obtained. Familiarization with the work of the college allowed the Institute’s employees to better understand how the training of specialists in mechanical engineering and automotive service contributes to the development of industry and services.
