On February 20, 2025 employees of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the Unified Information Day in the organizations of the Republic of Belarus

On February 20, 2025 Elena PRESNYAKOVA, Head of the Center of Innovation and Investment Policy, made a report “Results of the Final Five-Year Plan as a Basis for the Strategy of Successful Development of Our Country” within the framework of the Unified Information Day in the organizations of the Republic of Belarus.

In accordance with the topic, the report revealed the economic achievements of the Republic of Belarus in 2024, highlighted the peculiarities of the investment policy and import substitution under external pressure, the stages of the recovery growth of industrial production, development of foreign economic activity and social policy.

When addressing the staff of the Belneftekhim Concern, the emphasis was placed on the implementation of a major project in the petrochemical industry on the construction of a delayed coking complex, which resulted in increasing the depth of crude oil refining to the world level.

As part of the discussion, the UID participants asked questions about the largest projects in other industries.

When addressing the employees of RUIE “Belgosstrakh”, the greatest interest among the listeners was aroused by the mechanisms for stimulating investment activities as part of the “One District, One Project” initiative, as well as the prospects for investment and innovative development of the economy in the context of improving legislation.

In RUE “Beltelecom” the speaker paid attention to the novelties presented at the exhibition of achievements of the sovereign Belarus, as well as to the intellectual developments of NAS of Belarus.

The peculiarity of the Unified Information Day in the organization was the live broadcasting to all structural units of Beltelecom.

At the end of the speech the conclusion was made about the necessity to consolidate intellectual and production resources of the Republic of Belarus for successful fulfillment of the tasks of 2025-2029 as five years of quality.
