On February 21, 2025 students of the Belarusian National Technical University visited the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus with a familiarisation tour

On February 21, 2025 students of the special fields “Engineering Economics” and “Organization of foreign economic activity of the enterprise” of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship of BNTU visited the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus with a familiarisation tour. The teachers of the department “Economics and management of innovative projects in industry” acted as attendants.

During the first part of the tour the guests visited the Museum of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus. The leading specialist Anna SAS familiarized the visitors with the exposition. Special attention was paid to the banner of the Institute of Economics, which is a symbol of the unification of scientific staff since the period of the organization’s establishment.

Anna SAS told in detail about the contribution of each of the directors to scientific activity, fundamental research, applied research and publications, starting from the stages of organization of the Institute of Economics, including the military and post-war period, the years of restoration and development of the national economy in the Belarusian SSR, as well as the time of functioning of the Institute in the conditions of Belarusian statehood.

The listeners were especially interested in the outstanding scientists and research workers who apply the experience and knowledge accumulated at the Institute in other spheres of activity, including the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education, BNTU and others.

During the second part of the tour the Head of the Center Elena PRESNYAKOVA acquainted the students with the format of scientific councils in the meeting room on the 11th floor, presented monographs, collections of conference proceedings and scientific papers published at the Institute.

In conclusion, the guests were presented innovative developments, in the creation of which NAS of Belarus took part.
