On March 20, 2025 the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus hosted the Unified Information Day dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus.

The event was opened and moderated by Vitaly PILUI, Deputy Director for Scientific and Innovative Work of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Grigory VASILEVICH, Head of the Department of Constitutional Law of the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University, Corresponding Member of NAS of Belarus, Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Law Sciences, Professor, Grigory VASILEVICH, invited by the Center of State Building and Law, made a report on the topic “The Constitution of the Republic of Belarus - the legal foundation of the unity and prosperity of the Belarusian people”.

In his speech Grigory VASILEVICH dwelt on the main milestones of the constitutional development of our state. Being one of the developers of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, he told about the interesting facts of preparation and adoption of the main law of the country, paid attention to the issues of sustainable social and economic development of Belarus, protection of the national identity.

The report “The Role of Physical Culture and Sports in the Context of the Provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus” was delivered by Oleg DODONOV, Leading Researcher of the Department of Monitoring of Socio-Economic Development of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences. He emphasized the importance for the citizens of the Republic of Belarus to engage in physical culture and sports, focusing on the favorable conditions created in the Republic of Belarus.

Grigory VASILEVICH’s speech aroused genuine interest among Institute’s staff. Grigory Alekseevich gave comprehensive answers and explanations to the questions from the audience.

At the end of the event Vitaly PILUI and Ekaterina GLADKAYA, on behalf of the whole staff and management of the Institute, expressed their sincere gratitude to the guest of honor Grigory VASILEVICH for the interesting report and hope for further cooperation between the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus and the Chair of Constitutional Law of the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University headed by him.
