On May 15, 2025, scientists from the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the International Scientific and Technical Conference “Engineering and Innovations in Industry”

On May 15, 2025, scientists from the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the International Scientific and Technical Conference “Engineering and Innovations in Industry”. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship (FMME) and AMKODOR OJSC, the holding’s management company, which hosted the event.

The goal of the conference is to unite the efforts of industrial enterprises, universities, research organizations and representatives of the public sector in finding solutions for the implementation of advanced technologies, strengthening technological sovereignty and increasing the competitiveness of domestic products.

The conference was opened by Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Denis BAKEY, who read out a welcoming address from Minister of Industry Alexander EFIMOV.

The First Vice-Rector of the Belarusian National Technical University Andrei SAFONOV also made a welcoming speech. He emphasized the important role of AMKODOR OJSC, the holding’s management company, in the process of strengthening the university’s ties with production and enhancing the practical focus of specialist training.

Head of the Center of Innovation and Investment Policy of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Elena PRESNYAKOVA made a report on the topic: “Assessment of the industrial enterprises’ readiness to implement new and advanced production technologies in the context of ensuring technological sovereignty”.

Among the speakers and participants of the conference were representatives of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, departments of the FMME, leading machine-building enterprises of the country: BelAZ OJSC, MAZ OJSC, MAZ-MAN OJSC, Minsk Gear Plant OJSC, Bobruiskagromash OJSC, BELKOMMUNMASH OJSC, Institute BELORGSTANKINPROM OJSC, BELGEE CJSC, AGAT-SYSTEM OJSC, Don State Technical University. Representatives of foreign technical higher educational institutions also attended the conference.

The AMKODOR site became a space for integrating advanced scientific views, production experience and management strategies aimed at strengthening the technological independence and global competitiveness of the Belarusian industry.
