Researcher of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Marina Lebedevich took part in the II Congress of Scientific Councils of the International Association of Academies of Sciences in Jinan (China)
On June 2-7, 2025, researcher of the Sector of Employment and Labor Market Policy of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Marina LEBEDEVICH visited the Chinese city of Jinan, where she took an active part in the events of the II Congress of Scientific Councils of the International Association of Academies of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Congress). The large-scale scientific forum was organized by the Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences).
During the congress, special attention was paid to the development of scientific and technical cooperation between Belarus and China within the framework of the Years of Cooperation in Science and Technology (2024-2025).
As part of the congress, a special conference was held, which included 4 thematic sections covering key areas of modern science.
Marina LEBEDEVICH participated in the section No. 4 “Culture, Art and History”, where the issues of preserving cultural heritage and humanitarian cooperation were discussed. There she presented a report on the topic “Production-Economic Competitions as a Method of Labor Motivation”, in which she outlined the results of her research in the field of labor economics.
An important part of the program was the participation of the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus in the meeting of the Council of Young Scientists of the IAAS, where promising initiatives to support young researchers were considered and joint projects for 2025 were planned.
As part of the cultural and scientific program, the participants of the congress visited the exhibition of scientific and technical achievements of Shandong Province, got acquainted with the work of the local Supercomputer Center and other leading scientific organizations of the region.
Participation in the international scientific forum allowed the Belarusian side to strengthen existing and establish new professional contacts with Chinese colleagues, outline promising areas of joint research, and exchange experience with scientists from other countries. The results obtained will contribute to the development of applied scientific projects and the expansion of international cooperation, including among young researchers.
