On June 26, 2025, employees of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the IV Eurasian Economic Forum, which was held in Minsk offline and online.
This Forum was timed to coincide with a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union, chaired by the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko, who in his address to the Forum participants at the plenary session outlined problematic issues and defined the key tasks and prospects for the development of the EAEU.
The significance of this Forum is determined by the fact that more than 2,000 participants from 33 countries arrived in Minsk, including the heads of such states as Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Myanmar, Nicaragua.
Each of the high-ranking Forum guests made a report at the plenary session, defining the key areas of economic development of both their countries and the Eurasian Economic Union as a whole.
Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Denis MUKHA took part in the plenary session with the participation of heads of state together with the Chief Scientific Secretary of the Presidium of NAS of Belarus Vasily HURSKY.
A substantial delegation of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, which included employees of most structural divisions, visited thematic platforms within the framework of the Forum in accordance with their scientific activities’ profile:
