On June 30, 2025, the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus organized a round table dedicated to the Day of the Economist “Strategic Guidelines for the Development of Domestic Economic Science”. The event was held in Conference Room No. 2 of the Presidium of NAS of Belarus.
The moderator of the round table was the Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Denis MUKHA, who emphasized the importance of implementing the State Scientific Research Program “Society and Humanitarian Security of the Belarusian State” for 2021-2025, and congratulated all the participants on the Day of the Economist.
The Chief Scientific Secretary of NAS of Belarus, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Vasily HURSKY addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech on behalf of the Chairman of the Presidium of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Medical Sciences Vladimir KARANIK.
Olga YUSHKEVICH, Deputy Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanities and Arts of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Philological Sciences, greeted and congratulated all the participants on the Day of the Economist on behalf of the Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanities and Arts of NAS of Belarus, Academician of NAS of Belarus, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Alexander KOVALENYA.
The heads of the tasks of the subprogram “Economy” of the State Scientific Research Program “Society and Humanitarian Security of the Belarusian State” for 2021-2025 presented the following reports:

Representatives of government bodies, academic organizations and educational institutions took an active part in the round table.
Following the round table, the participants exchanged views and noted the main strategic guidelines for the development of domestic economic science. Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Denis MUKHA emphasized the high relevance and profound content of the reports presented.
