On August 9, 2025, employees of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus visited Polotsk

On August 9, 2025, employees of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus attended a sightseeing tour “Polotsk – the city where it all began”.

The employees got acquainted with the history of Polotsk city creation, visited the Transfiguration Church – a unique monument of ancient Russian architecture, painting, theological thought, located on the territory of the operating St. Euphrosyne Convent. An organ music concert was organized for the employees in the St. Sophia Cathedral.

A visit to the museum of traditional hand weaving with an excursion about the weaving traditions of the ancient Slavs and the museum of Belarusian book printing in the buildings of the ancient Epiphany Monastery were also organized for the employees.
