On August 30, 2025, the team of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus took part in the Summer Sports and Athletic Contest among employees of organizations of the NAS of Belarus, dedicated to the Year of Municipal Improvement

On August 30, 2025, the team of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus, supported by active fans, took part in the Summer Sports and Athletic Contest among employees of organizations of the NAS of Belarus, dedicated to the Year of Municipal Improvement.

Led by its permanent captain – researcher at the Sector of Social and Consumer Services Tatyana SAVLUK, the team of the Institute was ranked 39th in a fierce competition with 61 other organizations of the NAS of Belarus. It can be considered a good result and progress in comparison with last year’s performance.

Particular attention should be paid to the performance of our young employees, who took part in all team events of the Sports Contest program and demonstrated a high level of sportsmanship in individual events. Junior researcher at the Department of Social and Economic Development Egine BABOYAN successfully performed in the women’s cross-country race, and Junior researcher at the Department of Service Sector Economy Evgeny KADOLICH successfully performed in pull-ups, improving the results of the Institute’s employees of previous years.

Along with the performance in all team events of the Sports Contest program, experienced young employees, who have been defending the honor of the Institute over the past few years in various sports events, also demonstrated a high level of skill in individual events: Head of the Sector of Social and Economic Development of Entrepreneurship of the Department of Monitoring of Social and Economic Development Anna AKSENEVICH and Researcher of the Center of World Economy Andrei SULEIKOV, as well as Senior Researcher of the Department of Monitoring of Social and Economic Development Alexander TSEDRIK (who successfully performed in the men’s cross-country race).

The overall result of the Institute team’s largely depends not only on the individual events of the Sports Contest program, but also on the team events, in which young employees, under the guidance of their senior comrades, acted as a one strong unit capable of overcoming all difficulties, demonstrating necessary skills, a high level of coordination and speed.

It is also necessary to note the support of the Institute team by fans: Deputy Director, Candidate of Economic Sciences Vitaly PILUI, Leading Researcher at the Center of State Building and Law, Candidate of Law Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana SLIZHEVSKAYA, who came with their children to cheer for the team, and Senior Researcher at the Center of World Economy Oleg KOLEDA.
