On September 12, 2025, employees of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus took part in the International Economic Cooperation Forum

On September 12, 2025, as part of the celebrations of the Belarusian capital 958th anniversary, the IV International Economic Cooperation Forum was held. It was organized by the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This year’s Forum focused on the topic “Bridge of Cooperation: From High Technology and Medicine to Tourism Potential” and brought together over 300 representatives of business and expert community from 27 countries and 15 regions of the Russian Federation.

The following distinguished guests addressed the Forum participants with welcoming remarks:

– Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir KUKHAREV;

– Head of the Ufa City District Administration Ratmir MAVLIEV;

– Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Halil Ibrahim YILMAZ.

The event was moderated by Sergei NABESHKO, General Director of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Belarusian investment and industry opportunities were presented at the Forum by:

– Ivan VEZHNOVETS, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, who spoke about the country’s economic potential;

– Elena BOGDAN, First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, who highlighted the capabilities of Belarusian healthcare system;

– Oleg ANDREYCHIK, Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, who presented the country’s tourism potential.

Following the plenary session, the Forum continued with thematic sections:

“Regional and International Cooperation with Minsk”;

“Investments, Innovations, and Technologies”;

“Business Practices and Export”.

In the course of Section 1, Nadezhda BATOVA, Head of the Sector of Ecological and Economic Research at the Center of Human Development and Demography at the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, made a report on “Climate Diplomacy and Green Investments: New Horizons for International Cooperation”.

Other employees of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus also took part in the Forum: Ekaterina GLADKAYA, Head of the Center of State Building and Law, Candidate of Law Sciences, Associate Professor; Nina ABRAMCHUK, Head of the Sector of Foreign Trade at the Center of World Economy; Tatyana SKRIABINA, Senior Researcher at the Sector of Foreign Trade; Natalia KURBEKO, Researcher at the Department of Macroeconomic and Financial Policy.

A large-scale exhibition “Made in Belarus” was a distinctive addition to the Forum’s business program.
