Marina Lebedevich, Chairperson of the Institute’s Council of Young Scientists, lectured in the project “Open Lectures”
Each educational session at the National Children’s Technopark features meetings with leading specialists and scientists as part of the project “Open Lectures”. The goal of the project is to introduce schoolchildren to current scientific trends and career prospects in science.
On October 15, 2025, Marina LEBEDEVICH, Chairperson of the Council of Young Scientists and Researcher, delivered a lecture on “State Support for Young Scientists” to students in grades 9-11 during the October session.
During the lecture, the students learned about the comprehensive system of measures implemented in Belarus to support young scientists. They were provided with detailed information about grants, scholarships, research funding programs, and housing subsidies for young scientists.
Particular emphasis was placed on the opportunities available to those who choose to pursue a career in science, both from school and during their university studies. The lecturer also highlighted the activities of the Council of Young Scientists and other support mechanisms that help young researchers fulfil their potential.
Such meetings not only broaden students’ horizons but also motivate them to pursue scientific endeavors, demonstrating realistic paths to a successful career in this field.
