On May 12, 2026, a thematic seminar/webinar, “Organizational and Managerial Framework for Dissertation Preparation and Defense”, was held at the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus as part of its continuing adult education program for postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, and researchers. The seminar/webinar was held in person and remotely. The following topics were discussed: managing the dissertation preparation and defense process; the scientific framework for dissertation research; thesis and abstract preparation. A question-and-answer briefing was also offered.

The course featured presentation by Denis KAPSKY, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, who discussed current issues in scientific training and dissertation requirements. Tatyana TETERINETS, Academic Secretary of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, also spoke.

Following the course, all participants received state-recognized training certificates and expressed gratitude to the lecturers for the relevant and productive seminar and for the knowledge they gained, which they will be able to use in their research papers.
