On May 14-15, 2026, staff members of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus participated in the Republican School of Young Scientists “Science – The Choice of the Future” and presented reports on promising research areas within the Academy of Sciences. The event was organized by the University of the NAS of Belarus and the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Belarus.

The event opened with a formal ceremony in the large conference hall of the NAS of Belarus. The plenary session began with a welcoming address to the participants of the School of Young Scientists, delivered on behalf of Vladimir KARANIK, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus.

The second day of the Republican School of Young Scientists, “Science – The Choice of the Future”, consisted of lectures on promising research areas at NAS of Belarus and seminars on good scientific practices.

In the “Jurisprudence” section, Yanina ASHARCHUK, a junior researcher at the Center for State Building and Law, presented a report on the activities of the Center for State Building and Law and the promising research conducted by its staff.

In the “Economics” section, Ekaterina TAVGEN, a researcher at the Center for World Economy, discussed promising research areas in the work of the Center for World Economy.

Other staff members of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus also attended the Republican School for Young Scientists.
