2026 has become a truly significant year for the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus – we are celebrating our 95th anniversary. It is significant that this event coincides with a professional holiday, the Day of the Economist, which lends our celebration a special symbolic depth: we are honoring not simply the Institute’s age, but its service and dedication to the profession. The nearly century-long journey of this scientific institution is a chronicle of intellectual achievements, service to science, and the development of Belarusian statehood.
