On July 9, 2026, third-year students majoring in Economics from the Faculty of International Economic Relations at the Belarusian State Economic University visited the Museum of the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus as part of their analytical internship.
Leading specialist Anna SAS gave a fascinating tour, during which the students learned the history of the Institute’s formation and development since its founding in 1931. They also viewed a display panel dedicated to the contributions of each director to scientific activities and fundamental and applied research, as well as a “Faces of the Institute” stand featuring the Institute’s researchers who have made significant contributions to national economic science.
Particular attention was paid to historical artifacts, including the Institute’s banner from the post-war period. Exhibits reflecting the activities of the Institute’s trade union were also of interest.
Students had a unique opportunity to explore the Institute’s scientific publications from the last century, which have become rare but remain relevant to this day.
The tour for students from the Belarusian State Economic University was organized by Kirill PILETSKY, Head of the Sector for Employment and Labor Market Policy at the Center for Human Development and Demography.
