On June 14, 2022, with the participation of the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Belarus Andrey SHVED an international research-to-practice conference «Supervisory and law enforcement activities of the prosecutor’s office in the context of a global transformation of national law enforcement systems» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the prosecutor’s office of Belarus was held.

The conference was organized by the Research-to-Practice Center of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus.

General Prosecutor Andrey SHVED, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Valentin SUKALO, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry GORA, Director of the National Center for Legal Information Andrey MATELSKY addressed the participants of the event with welcoming words.

Respected scientists from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and employees of the prosecutor’s office discussed such topical issues as the human rights activities of the prosecutor’s office, international legal cooperation in the field of criminal prosecution, countering cybercrime and extremism, the impact of globalization processes on modern crime, certain aspects of the prosecutor’s participation in civil proceedings and pre-trial proceedings, judicial control.
