On June 22, 2022, young scientists of the Institute of Economics on the day of the nationwide memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people honored the memory of the dead for peaceful Belarus and laid flowers to the monument “Partisan Belarus”.

During the years of the Nazi occupation in Belarus over 1200 partisan detachments operated, where more than 370000 people’s avengers fought. 88 Belarusian partisans and underground activists deserved the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. The total losses of the Belarusian partisans for the period from 1941 to 1944, according to incomplete data, amounted to 45000 people.
