On August 04, 2022, employees of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in a seminar on advanced training of officials who organize ideological work in employees’ teams of state and other organizations. I was organized by the Republican State-Public Association «Belarusian Society» Knowledge», Gomel city organizational structure.

The speakers of the event were Anastasia BOBROVA, Head of the Center of Human Development and Demography, and Nadezhda BATOVA, Head of the Section of Environmental and Economic Research of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus.

Anastasia BOBROVA, Head of the Center of Human Development and Demography, in her speech «Demographic Barriers to Economic Growth» focused on a qualitative change in the structure of demographic problems and their impact on economic growth in modern conditions.

Nadezhda BATOVA, Head of the Section of Environmental and Economic Research, in her speech «Green Economy Development: Opportunities and Challenges for the Regions of Belarus» focused on the emergence of new opportunities for the regions in the development of the green economy, as well as the emergence of new threats based on the specifics of the region.
