On September 17, 2022, at the site of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus with the participation of representatives of the SPC of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Institute of History of NAS of Belarus and the Radoshkovichi Secondary School No. 2, a round table was held dedicated to the Day of National Unity.
The event was organized by the Center of State Building and Law of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus.
Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Denis MUKHA addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech, and also handed over to the speakers the scientific publication «Economics of the Great Victory, mutual assistance and post-war construction» (authors V. Kalinkovich, V. Sviridovich).
Valentin MAZETS, a leading researcher at the Institute of History of NAS of Belarus, spoke about the history of the formation of the state-territorial unity of the Belarusian people in the first half of the 20th century.
Director of the Scientific and Practical Center of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus Igor MOROZ devoted his report to little-known historical facts about the crimes of Polish nationalists against the Belarusian population during the Great Patriotic War.
The current topic «September 17, 1939 is an act of historical justice for the Belarusian people», including on the example of her family, was revealed by the Head of the Section of the Institute of Economics Antonina TRIPUZOVA.
The civic-patriotic project «Come and See», created by the Radoshkovichi secondary school No. 2, which was demonstrated by the director of the school Igor DYATLOVSKY, aroused keen interest.
In addition, Igor DYATLOVSKY invited the scientific community and their family members to visit the Air and Fire Ramming Museum (including virtually).
The participants of the round table had the opportunity to «touch the history» ‑ one of the exhibits of the museum ‑ the «air ram navigator».
During the round table, employees of the Institute of Economics and invited distinguished guests discussed important issues related to the initiation of criminal cases against Polish nationalists guilty of the genocide of the Belarusian people.
The round table was attended by Scientific Secretary Andrei GAVRILENYA, employees of the Institute of Economics from various departments, including young scientists, guests of the Institute ‑ an employee of the Institute of History Marina ZINCHENKO, graduates of BSU Victoria ZHILINSKAYA and Diana KRYLOVICH, as well as students of the Radoshkovichi Secondary School No. 2 Roman SMOLONSKY, Lisa FILISTOVICH and Maria RUL.
The students of the school were presented with sweet gifts, and the Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics Andrei PILYUTIK organized a visit to the Museum of the State Scientific Institution «Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of NAS of Belarus».
