Every year on the last Sunday of January Belarus celebrates the Day of Belarusian Science, officially established in 1993.

I sincerely congratulate you on the professional holiday of Belarusian scientists and creators who make their intellectual contribution to the formation and development of domestic science, strengthen the foundation of scientific and technological progress in Belarus, and educate a worthy successor. In the modern world, science has been and remains a powerful resource for economic and social transformations, the most important component of the country’s national wealth.

The work of scientists has always served the interests of society. And the present day continues to pose not only fundamental research tasks for scientists, but also dictates the need for closer integration of science and the real sector of the economy. Here it is impossible to overestimate the role of economic science as the most important pillar of the state. It is precisely with its development that people’s hopes for improving the quality of life, the prosperity of the state, and the multiplication of national wealth are connected. In this regard, I would like to emphasize that the past year was significant for the scientific life of the Institute. We have reached a new significant level.

Diligence, professionalism, high-quality performance of work, responsibility were and remain the main advantages of our team. In your daily work, you put a piece of your soul that helps to bring bold ideas and plans to life. The merits of the Institute give us the right to be proud of our institution and inspire us to develop the Belarusian scientific school and current research areas, expand international relations in the field of science, and strengthen the scientific and technical base.

Noting the scientific success of our Institute in 2022, we have every reason to believe that the team will maintain the set pace of development and achieve better results.
