On February 16, 2023, the Head of the Section of the Center of State Building and Law of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Antonina TRIPUZOVA took part as a lecturer at a seminar for an ideological asset ‑ civil servants and heads of state organizations in Zhodino on the topic «Major aspects of anti-corruption work in the organization. Updated Law and Anti-Corruption Strategy».

The organizers of this event, which took place at the site of the Zhodino city executive committee, were the Minsk Regional Organizational Structure of the RSPA BS «Knowledge» and the Zhodino city executive committee.

The seminar was opened by the chairman of the Zhodino city executive committee Dmitry ZABOLOTSKIY who took an active part in it.

The event was attended by Lyudmila MALASHEVICH, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Minsk Regional Organizing Structure of the RSPA BS «Knowledge», and Olga GLUSHKO, Editor-in-Chief of the State Institution «Editorial Office of the newspaper «Zhodzinskiya Naviny» and the radio broadcasting program «Radio Zhodino».

The seminar was held in the format of an open dialogue, with a wide representation of the ideological activists of the city of Zhodino, including the heads of the city executive committee, its structural divisions, a number of state organizations, in particular the central city hospital, the housing and communal services department, the Youth Center of Zhodino, the Center for Ensuring the Activities of Budgetary organizations, a territorial center for social services, a catering plant, a shopping center, a city market, a city veterinary station.

The lecturer paid special attention to the novelties of the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On Combating Corruption» as amended on December 30, 2022, the Anti-Corruption Strategy, approved on December 23, 2022, modern tools for the formation of a professional anti-corruption space and an atmosphere of rejection of corruption in society, and also focused on anti-corruption prohibitions and restrictions, conflict of interest management.

The lively interest of the seminar participants was aroused by the issues of updating local acts, examples from the practice of applying anti-corruption legislation and the possibility of self-testing knowledge of some of its provisions.
