On April 24, 2020, employees of the Institute of Economics NAS of Belarus took part in the republican day of community work.

The date of this event has been determined by the Resolution No. 233 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated April 16, 2020 in connection with the declaration of 2020 as the Year of the Small Motherland, as well as preparations for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War and in order to support the proposals of staff members of organizations and local executive and administrative bodies on arranging a republican day of community work.

As part of the community work employees of the Institute of Economics NAS of Belarus cleaned up workplaces, carried out work to improve the adjacent territory and bring it into proper condition.

The Institute of Economics NAS of Belarus will transfer the money earned on this day to the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus for the subsequent financing of the preparation of children's recreation camps for the summer season, including the development of their infrastructure and facilities, improvement and upgrading of settlements, as well as repair, reconstruction, restoration, rehabilitation of historical and cultural values, memorial sites, places of military glory of the Great Patriotic War period.
