The Institute of Economics of the NASB pays great attention to international scientific cooperation. Its research efforts are enhanced through creative collaborations with leading research institutes and consortia around the world, including those in Russia, the Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Mongolia, China, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan and Slovakia.

The Institute maintains particularly close and fruitful contacts with related Russian and the Ukrainian organizations, whith which it has signed the agreements on scientific collaboration. They are the Institute of Economics, the Institute of Market Problems and the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, the Institute of Economic Forecasting and the Institute of Regional Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine and some other.

The Institute is also a member of the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association (EECSA).
