On May 26, 2022, a round table «Foreign economic aspects of national economic security in modern conditions» was held at the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, organized by the Center of World Economy, with the participation of representatives of the Faculty of International Relations of the BSU and the Department of Internal Security of the Minsk Regional Customs.

Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Vasili HURSKY delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the round table.

Head of the Center of World Economy of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Tatyana VERTINSKAYA opened and moderated the event. Tatyana VERTINSKAYA spoke about the Center’s scientific activities in the field of foreign economic security and noted the importance of the issues raised in the context of modern threats and challenges.

Viktor OSTROG, Head of the Department of Customs Affairs at the Faculty of International Relations of the BSU, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor.

The event ended with the exchange of agreements on joint activities between the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus and the BSU on the establishment of a branch of the Department of Customs Affairs on the basis of the Section of Global Economy of the Center of World Economy.
