On June 3, 2022, a round table on the topic «Scientific potential and the effectiveness of the functioning of legal mechanisms for ensuring economic security» was held at the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus. It was organized by the Center of State Building and Law with the participation of representatives of the BSUIR Information Technology Institute and the Faculty of Law of the Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin.

The event was opened by the Head of the Center of State Building and Law, Candidate of Law Sciences, Associate Professor Natalya MINKO, who spoke about the areas of activity of the Center, noted the importance of issues planned for consideration at a round table, and also wished the participants a fruitful discussion.

The participants of the round table included:

Irina Sidorchuk, Deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work of the Institute of Information Technologies of BSUIR, Candidate of Law Sciences, Associate Professor with a report on «Theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of promising regulatory mechanisms and the implementation of new technologies for ensuring and protecting national interests in the economic sphere», whose performance caused a lively discussion, in which the speaker was asked a number of questions on the topic.

Tatyana Gorupa, Head of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Law Faculty of Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin, Candidate of Law Sciences, Associate Professor with a report on the topic «Theoretical and methodological foundations of the legal support mechanism for the economic security of the Republic of Belarus and the role of consumer protection policy in this mechanism».

Maria Kurilovich, junior researcher at the Center of State Building and Law of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus with a report on the topic «Legal aspects of environmental insurance consolidation as a form of partnership in the field of environmental protection».

Nikolai Kolesen, junior researcher at the Center of State Building and Law of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus with a report on the topic «Combating corruption as a factor in ensuring the economic security of the state: foreign experience».

The final word was made by the Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Vasili Hursky and Head of the Center of State Building and Law, Candidate of Law Sciences, Associate Professor Natalya Minko.
