The
Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus acted as a co-organizer of the
Research-to-Practice Conference «Social aspects of the development of regions
in the conditions of large challenges», which was held on October 12, 2022 on
the basis of the Institute of Regional Economy Problems of the Russian Academy
of Sciences.
The Director
of the Institute Denis MUKHA made a welcoming speech and wished the participants
fruitful work, a creative effective discussion, activity, optimism and
acquisition of friendly contacts.
The report «Regional
assessment of the risks of human capital development in the Republic of
Belarus» was made by the Head of the Center of Human Development and
Demography, Anastasia BOBROVA. During the speech, some results of scientific
research performed in 2022 as part of the GPSR «Society and Humanitarian Security
of the Belarusian State», the subprogram «Economics» were announced.
Valentina TSILIBINA,
Head of the Section of Mineral Resources Efficiency, spoke about the results of
an assessment of the level of energy efficiency of the economies of Belarus and
Russia from the perspective of the trinity «Human-Economics-Environment».
Employees
of the Institute also covered the issues of labor market transformation
(Natalya MOROZOVA) and its priority development direction (Kirill PILETSKY),
modern environmental trends (Nadezhda BATOVA and Daria SAMTSOVA), etc.
