On June 29, a round table among young scientists, dedicated to the year of peace and creation, took place at the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus

In accordance with the program of measures to conduct Economics Week, on June 29, a round table «Belarus of the Future» took place, dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation. The initiative organizer of the round table is the Council of Young Scientists of the Department of the Humanities and the Arts of NAS of Belarus.

The role of moderators was played by:

Marina LEBEDEVICH ‑ Chairman of the CYS of the Department of Humanities and Arts of NAS of Belarus, Chairman of the CYS of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, researcher of the Center of Human Development and Demography of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus;

Alesya SOLOVEY ‑ Deputy Chairman of the CYS of the Department of Humanities and Arts of NAS of Belarus, Chairman of the CYS of the Institute of Sociology of NAS of Belarus, researcher of the Monitoring Center of Migration of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel of the Institute of Sociology of NAS of Belarus.

The Director of the Institute Denis MUKHA addressed the young scientists with a welcoming speech. In his appeal, he noted that «peaceful creative work is the basis of our country’s well-being. Young scientists are the future of science, and it is especially important for them to conduct relevant scientific research today in order to build a peaceful future tomorrow» At the end of the speech, the Director wished the participants fruitful and active work.

In the course of the round table, young scientists made reports and discussed issues related to the digitalization and informatization of socio-economic processes, the use of artificial intelligence in various fields of activity.

Speeches were delivered by:

1. Igor STAVROVSKY – junior researcher of the Center of Philosophical and Methodological Interdisciplinary Research of the Institute of Philosophy of NAS of Belarus and Alexander KOSENKOV ‑ junior researcher of the Center of Philosophical and Methodological Interdisciplinary Research of the Institute of Philosophy of NAS of Belarus with the report «Research of the Information Society at the Institute of Philosophy of NAS of Belarus: history, directions and prospects»;

2. Andrey SULEIKOV ‑ Deputy Chairman of the CYS of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, researcher of the Center of World Economy of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus with the report «Using AI and related technologies in public administration: political and legal aspects»;

3. Snezhana Voronina – junior researcher of the Department of Sociology of the Culture of the Institute of Sociology of NAS of Belarus with a report «Media literacy of the population of Belarus in the context of society digital transformation: age differentiation»;

4. Konstantin ZHEVNEROVICH – researcher of the Food Security Department of the Institute of System Researches in Agroindustrial Complex of NAS of Belarus with the report «World Experience and the Development Trends of Innovations in the agricultural sector»;

5. Alla CEDRIK – researcher of the Center of the Innovation and Investment Policy of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus with the report «Digital Transformation as a Sustainable Development Factor».

The final reports were made by Marina LEBEDEVICH and Alesya SOLOVEY on scientific events and scientific publications of organizations of the Department of Humanities and Arts of NAS of Belarus.

The results of the scientific interaction of young scientists of NAS of Belarus were:

Exchange of views and scientific discussion;

Establishing scientific contacts among organizations of NAS of Belarus;

Development of strategic directions for the development of the national economy;

Determination of promising areas for cooperation among organizations of NAS of Belarus;

Planning of new joint events.
