Young scientists presented the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus at the Science Festival 2023

On September 2, the Science Festival 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the Festival) was held on the basis of the Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Belarus, with the full support of NAS of Belarus. The Festival is taking place for the fifth time and every year the interest of visitors to this scientific event increases. The festival was solemnly opened by the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus Igor SERGEENKO and the Chairman of the Presidium of NAS of Belarus Vladimir GUSAKOV.

Medicine, space, ecology, nuclear technology is just a small part of the scientific areas that one could get acquainted with at the Festival.

Young scientists from the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) did not stand aside and fascinatingly introduced visitors to the features and key areas of activity of the Institute, basic economic concepts, the basics of financial literacy, etc. A variety of interactive tasks were prepared for visitors of all ages and levels of economic literacy. Everyone learned something new, useful and interesting from the diverse world of economic science.

A special place at the Festival was occupied by projects of young scientists, united by the contest exhibition “100 Innovations of Young Scientists”. It was attended by young scientists with projects that can be practically implemented both from organizations of NAS of Belarus and from leading universities and secondary specialized educational institutions. Based on the results of the exhibition, a qualified commission will select 20 best projects.

Young scientists of the Institute Anna AKSENEVICH and Andrei SULEIKOV presented their projects in the category “Ensuring the security of humans, society and the state”. The jury members noted the relevance of the presented projects.
