On September 28, 2023, at the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus a facility-based training was held on the topic: “Arrangements for protection of Institute’s employees from emergency situations in peace- and wartime”

According to the Plan of main activities for the training of management bodies and facility squad of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus of the Minsk city subsystem of the State Emergency Service and Civil Defense for 2023, on September 28, 2023, facility training was conducted on the topic: “Arrangements for protection of Institute’s employees from emergency situations in peace- and wartime”.

As part of the facility-based training following activities took place:

1. Techniques and methods were tested to protect the population and ensuring the sustainability of the Institute’s functioning in the event of an emergency, as well as in the event of the enemy’s use of weapons.

2. Actions during emergency situations in peace- and wartime were tried and tested in practice and recommendations were given to:

the management staff of the Institute on measures to prevent and eliminate emergency situations at the Institute;

civil defense units on how to gather, receive equipment and protection means, make reconnaissance, perform tasks to eliminate the consequences of emergency situations, carry out rescue and other urgent work;

to employees of the Institute who are not members of civil defense units, on the use of personal protective equipment, sheltering in protective premises, evacuation, and actions after warning signals.
